The use of content generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in an article (including but not limited to text, figures, images, and code) shall be disclosed in the acknowledgments section of any article submitted to an IACIO2024 Bangkok publication. The AI system used shall be identified, and specific sections of the article that use AI-generated content shall be identified and accompanied by a brief explanation regarding the level at which the AI system was used to generate the content.
The use of AI systems for editing and grammar enhancement is common practice and, as such, is generally outside the intent of the above policy. In this case, disclosure as noted above is recommended.
  3. Author lists should be carefully considered before submission. For more information on what constitutes an author, please click here. Contributors who do not meet IACIO2024 Bangkok’s definition of authorship should be included in the Acknowledgment section of the article. Omitting an author who contributed to your article or including a person who did not fulfill authorship requirements is considered a breach of publishing ethics. Once the list and order of authors has been established, the list and order of authors should not be altered without permission of all living authors of that article, and the decision to allow such changes rests with the Editor.
  4. Corresponding authors are required to have an ORCID ID associated with their account. For more information on ORCID, click here.
